Krewes Kare moves its Eye from the Hurricanes to focus on Haiti

Usually known for their hurricane relief efforts, Krewes Kare is taking a different direction for this year's "Knight Parade Krash Party" and sending donations to help earthquake victims in Haiti.

Krewes Kare President Yvonne Painton, said, "Because of the timing of the devastation in Haiti and the timing of the Krash Party, and because we were lucky enough to have avoided any major hurricanes this past season, we are able to turn our donation attention toward the poor people suffering in Haiti."

The 7th Annual "Knight Parade Krash Party" will be held February 6, 2010, at The Italian Club, 1731 E 7TH Avenue in Ybor City, immediately following the Sant' Yago Illuminated Knight Parade. A $40.00 donation gets you a never-ending buffet, premium open bar, and live music by the Moneypenny Band, DJ and Radio Personality Pat George, dancing, partying, and entertainment in the two ballrooms of the club. This is "THE" party to attend every year... and as an added bonus, the $40.00 entrance fee is tax-deductible.

To attend, or for more information, go to www.kreweskare.org or contact Yvonne Painton at yvonnep@kreweskare.org or 813-839-1302 ext. 629.
