The Parade Steps off at 10:00 am ( I not be sure how many bells that is..) but its be’fer it gets too HOT…  The Parade route goes the entire length of the Island (All 7 miles) thru 3 City’s and 12,000 Spectators... Ta be a 7 mile parade so thar be NO Walk’n, Ya gotts ta be on Wheel’s

Bring your Cannons & Black Powder Pistols cause the Cops let’s us fire them Off in public without going to the Hoos’cow…

When the Parade ends we all get’s together at the “Café on the Beach”.. (Yes it on the Beach an that’s the name of the place) fer some good Music, Grub & Grog… ( if ya get to Hot, bring yer Bathing Suit & jump in the Water)… We also present to the Public our High school Scholarship Winners..  ($27,000 last year, That’s be a’lot of Doubloons.)

Then by Y’immy when night falls ya get to watch Fireworks over that Big Old Pond we Sail called the Gulf Of Mexico ..

Ya all had fun at the Gasparilla, Ybor, Rabonia, DeSoto and Chascos… (( we’d be letten Ya throw beads and everything...))   Them’s Parades be a hole lotta fun, so don’t be letten the fun end….. Think about keep’n the fun a happen’n and come Join us real Pirates for the 4th of July Parade… (( Ya all know we’d be a friendly Krewe … If’s ya joined us at our Hospitality room dur’n DeSoto ))….
